What is THE 'EID-BOWL?

The 'Eid-Bowl is a legendary tournament that has been taking place at various locations throughout Buffalo. The very first 'Eid-Bowl was at Parker Filed after Eid-ul-Fitr in the year 2000. Muslims all over buffalo look forward to this flag football tournament to claim their right to glory, and to be able to take home the Mubarak Trophy. Due to the record-breaking numbers for attendance of the After-Eid-Playoffs and the 'Eid Cup, we have decided to hold this years 'Eid-Bowl at the field where it all began- Parker Field, which is minutes away from (Parker Masjid) Masjid Al Taqwa- the oldest Masjid in Buffalo. We want this to mark a new beginning for united Muslims of Buffalo. This one is going to be a classic inshaAllah. Don't miss it.

What is the AFTER-EID PLAYOFFS?

This is an open invitaion to all the Muslims of Western New York to come show their skills on the court. We hope to make this an annual event, like the EID BOWL, which was recently held at UB North Campus. In order for this event to be successful, we need the whole community to be involved. The goal is to unite all the Muslims in our area, even if just for a few hours for friendly competition and enjoyment. We come together from different backgrounds, localities, and affiliations every year to pray the Eid Salah. In the same manner, our aim at PRAY N PLAY is to bring everyone together to play "Eid Sports". Just as we celebrate the praises of our Lord together, we can celebrate the skills and abilities He has blessed us with.

What is PRAY -N- PLAY?

As stated above, our aim is unity. This website was developed for the sole purpose of making it easy for our community members to join our upcoming and future events. For years the EID BOWL and the EID CUP Football and Soccer tournaments have been going on, and so many brothers and sisters have been missing out on the fun. This year is the first Basketball Tournament, and we didn't want anyone to miss it. So please sign up and be part of the excitement. At the very least, please make du'a that the All Mighty Allah accepts our efforts and gives us pure intentions.

Who is behind this project?

This effort was established by a few brothers and sisters from around Buffalo, Kenmore, Lackawanna, Getzville, and Depew. We come from all different backgrounds.
